The zero draft of the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework includes language on fiscal reform

The ‘Open-ended Working Group on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework’ came out with a zero draft that will be used as the basis for discussions in the XV Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) on 24-28 February in Kunming, China. The draft builds on the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and includes suggestions of fiscal measures to bring about a “transformation in society’s relationship with biodiversity”.
