Fiji announces $50m ‘climate bond’ ahead of COP23 presidency

18 October 2017 – With technical support from the World Bank, Fiji aims to raise 100 million Fiji dollars ($50m) through issuing a sovereign green bond to build resilience to climate change and support a shift to 100% renewable energy.
