CFMCA Regional Convening for Asia-Pacific

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is supporting the Philippines’ Department of Finance (DOF), in partnership with the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action, led by the Netherlands and Indonesia as co-chairs, in organising and hosting the Regional Meeting of the CFMCA on 27–28 August 2024 at the ADB Headquarters in Manila, Philippines. The Meeting will be co-organised by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), NDC Partnership, and the World Bank (WB). This two-day Regional Meeting (RM) will bring together ministries of finance from the Asia and the Pacific region to discuss crucial topics, including the role of finance ministries in the nationally determined contribution (NDC) 2025 process, adaptation and resilience, nature finance, and national transition plans.
