14 November 2019: As part of Canada’s G20 commitment, the country announced a joint peer review with Argentina in June of 2018 to provide an inventory of the countries’ fossil fuel subsidies. Although the completion time for this project was projected at two years, government officials have said that the review will not be finished until 2021.
