10 May 2017 – The Second Annual High Level Assembly meeting of the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition (CPLC) was held in Washington DC on 20 April. At the meeting government officials, business and civic organizations convened to discuss the potential of carbon taxes. Participants agreed that a well-designed carbon tax can unleash the creativity of the business sector, boost economic growth for the global economy, and catalyze the movement toward a more environmentally sustainable future.
