Environmentally Harmful Subsidies In Germany 2014 (Umweltbundesamt)

This report by the Federal Environment Agency of Germany estimates that environmentally harmful subsidies in Germany amounted to more than €52 billion in 2010 across energy supply and use, transport, construction and housing, agriculture, forestry and fisheries. The report recognises that such subsidies not only undermine environmental protection, but are also a burden on public funds and recommends their reduction without delay. This is the 2014 edition of the Environmentally Harmful Subsidies In Germany report and is available to download from the website of the UBA.
