It finds that risk guarantee and credit enhancement programs that subsidize coal-fired power plants could cost the Government of Indonesia and Indonesian ratepayers tens of trillions of rupiah – many billions of US dollars – over the coming decade, while simultaneously exposing the Indonesian public to multi-billion dollar risks.
