G7 fails to reiterate pledge to end fossil fuel subsidies

27 May 2017 – During the G7 summit in Sicily the assembled heads of states failed to reiterate their commitment to end fossil fuel subsidies by 2025, which they had adopted at their last G7 summit in Japan in 2016.
