Fossil Fuel Subsidies and Gender

31 May 2017 – Lucy Kitson (Research Officer and Economist, IISD-GSI) reports on a side-event to the Vienna Energy Forum about gender inclusive energy policies. She argues that fossil fuel subsidies have a strong gender differentiated impact and that more empirical research is required to better understand the nexus of gender and fossil fuel subsidies.
