SUMMARY:Regional workshop - Reforming Fossil Fuel Subsidies for an Inclusive Green Economy
DESCRIPTION:The second regional workshop of the Green Fiscal Policy Network was organised in collaboration with the Global Subsidies Initiative and explored policies that support the production and use of fossil fuels\, share countries’ experiences with subsidy reform\, and identified remaining knowledge gaps in terms of data\, methodology\, and policy guidance. DESCRIPTION:The first regional workshop of the Green Fiscal Policy Network organised jointly by UNEP-IMF-GIZ brought together representatives from finance and environment ministries to share and discuss experiences and best practices for driving a green economy through fiscal policy reforms.
