Environmental Fiscal Reforms in India: Where and How? (GIZ and TERI)

This study looks into the potential role of environmental fiscal reforms in addressing environmental and resource use efficiency issues in India. The study examines the existing administrative, institutional and legal frameworks that determine the applicability of environmental fiscal reform in India by examining the trade-offs and the impacts on various stakeholders.  Observations and recommendations are provided for municipal solid waste management and resource use efficiency in micro, small, and medium sized enterprises.
