Think 20 Summit Global Solutions

The Think 20 Summit 2017 aims to provide 20 Global Solutions for the G20 on topics such as the digital economy, climate policy and finance, migration and refugees. The summit will bring together leading figures from politics, academia and civil society to discuss these questions in a research-based way. One of the panels with Nicholas Stern and Joseph E. Stiglitz will discuss carbon pricing and launch the Carbon Pricing High-Level Commission’s report “The Right Price of Carbon”. Other issues to be discussed including sustainable financial solutions such as green bonds and circular economy issues. The summit is mandated by the German G20 Presidency and organized by the Kiel Institute in cooperation with the DIE, the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT Berlin) and the conference department of Tagesspiegel Publishing.
