30 May 2017 – The Ministry of Finance of Viet Nam plans to increase environmental taxes on HCFC (hydro-chloro-fluoro-carbon) solutions and plastic bags. The move is aimed to raise organisations’ and individuals’ awareness and responsibility for the environment and hence reduce their use of these products.
